扯鈴，又稱抖空竹，在中國有著悠久的歷史，是傳統民俗文化百花園中的一朵奇葩。

扯鈴是一項全身運動，有促進協調能力，提高視力智力，促進血液循環，改善消化能力，促進大腦發育，增強精神集中的能力等好處。扯鈴有趣又多變，可以單人獨樂也可以多人玩耍，又有很強的表演性。因此玩者也可籍此學習舞台表演能力及增強自信心。

扯鈴運動器械便攜，對場地沒有也特別要求，費用很低。基本技能非常容易上手，又有多種花樣可以挑戰難度。可謂經濟實惠能隨時隨地，又能長久享受的樂趣。
